About the Artisan: Vermont Artisan Coffee & Tea is owned and operated by Mané Alves, a native of Lisbon, Portugal, who has worked in the specialty coffee industry for over 20 years. Mané travels extensively every year to coffee-producing countries throughout Central America, South America, and Asia, where he speaks and teaches seminars on coffee production and quality standards.
