“Good friends are like stars… you don’t always see them, but they’re always there.”
Bear with me for a minute. I know this quote is cheesy (if you know me, you know that I am a cheeseball at heart)! But as I was looking through quotes to highlight for National Friendship Month, this one stuck out to me.
Between the pandemic, having a new baby at home, and running my business, free time is pretty much nonexistent for me these days. I am lucky to have amazing friends that have been so close to my heart throughout the years, but I don’t see them anywhere near as often as I want to.
Maybe you can relate to this. Do you have friends that live across the country that you haven’t been able to see in a year or more? Or maybe you have a friend that lives just across town, but social distancing has caused you to grow apart a little bit.
I’m grateful for Friendship Month and the opportunity it offers to appreciate the friendships I am blessed to have in my life.
